Academy Scholars Publish Edited Volume on the Future of Human Rights in Europe
The publication of ‘The Future of Human Rights Protection in Europe’ is an exciting milestone for the Academy for European Human Rights Protection. Edited by three members of the Academy – Prof. Dr. Angelika Nußberger, Dr. Cathérine Van de Graaf and Dr. Yannick Schoog – the volume brings together emerging researchers to explore some of the most pressing questions surrounding the future of human rights protection in Europe in times of political, technological and societal change. Published by Larcier-Intersentia, the book is also a special full-circle moment for the Academy: the contributions grew out of the Young Researchers’ Workshop, an event that formed part of the Academy’s opening celebrations. What began as an inspiring exchange of ideas between early-career researchers and experienced practitioners at the launch of the Academy has now developed into a timely and thought-provoking contribution to ongoing debates about the future of human rights protection in Europe. Contributors include Yannick Schoog, Ezgi Özlü, Paula Rhein-Fischer, Samuel White, Cathérine Van de Graaf, My Hanh Pham, Francesca Mussi, Sergii Masol, Reza Khabook, Tomáš Morochovic and Angelika Nußberger.
