Vandita Khanna
Vandita Khanna schloss ihr Jurastudium an der Jindal Global Law School in Indien (2013–2018) als Jahrgangsbeste mit Goldmedaille ab. Sie erhielt das Oxford Indira Gandhi Graduate Scholarship und das Cornelia Sorabji Scholarship vom Oxford India Centre for Sustainable Development, um an der Universität Oxford einen BCL (mit Auszeichnung) und einen MPhil in Rechtswissenschaften zu erwerben. Während ihrer Promotion in Rechtswissenschaften an der University of Cambridge (betreut von Dr. Kirsty Hughes) untersuchte sie die Rolle von Gleichstellungs- und Diskriminierungsgesetzen bei der Bekämpfung des Phänomens der rassistisch bedingten Armut, wobei sie sich auf Artikel 14 EMRK konzentrierte. Ihre Promotion wurde durch das Cambridge International and Evan Lewis-Thomas Law Studentship finanziert. Im Rahmen ihrer Promotion war sie im Herbst 2023 Gastdoktorandin an der Hertie School, Centre for Fundamental Rights, und im akademischen Jahr 2024-25 Fox International Fellow an der Yale University.
Vandita trat im Juli 2025 als Postdoktorandin in die Akademie für den Schutz der Menschenrechte in Europa an der Universität zu Köln ein.
