Laila Moliterno

Laila Moliterno Abi Cheble graduated as a Lawyer from the National University of Tucumán (UNT, Argentina, 2020) with an academic exchange in Brazil (2017). As a former Junior esearcher she received a distinction in XXVI Jornadas de Jóvenes Investigadores (AUGM, 2018).

She holds a Master in European and German Law at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) linked to the Centre for European and German Studies (CDEA-DAAD, 2022).

Her academic pursuits were supported by scholarships from public institutions, including the Consejo Interuniversitario Argentino (CIN, Argentina), Brazilian Government (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior, CAPES), DAAD (Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst), AUGM (Association of Universities of the Montevideo Group, Uruguay) among others.

Currently, Moliterno is an intern at the Federal Public Defender Office of Brazil, specializing in international matters (2022-present). She brings prior experience as an academic trainee at the Inter-American Children Institute (IIN-OAS, 2022) and as a teaching assistant in Constitutional Law (UNT) and International Private Law (UFRGS).

She is a researcher on the project "Mercosur, Consumer Law and Globalization" led by Prof. Dr. h. c. Claudia Lima Marques (UFRGS). Her work primarily revolves around the areas of international children protection, vulnerabilities of consumers and the humanization of private law.
