Maik Berger
Maike Berger is a research assistant at the Academy for European Human Rights Protection and responsible for the coordination of the Summer School in German Law. She studied Educational Science and Slavic Studies (B.A.) as well as Culture, Aesthetics, Media (M.A.). Her academic focus is on the interface between language, culture and law.
As part of her Master's thesis, she researched migration biographies and was awarded a PROMOS scholarship for research stays abroad. Her research took her to Wrocław and Lviv, among other places. In addition to her work at the Academy, she has experience in university teaching and in cultural and language education work.
